Welcome to my sonic world! I am Josh Kibeat, a passionate DJ and music producer born in Mataró (BCN). My musical journey began at the age of 18, exploring genres like makina and hardcore, eventually establishing myself as DJ Seion and winning my first contest in 2010.
Now, my focus on music extends beyond genre boundaries. My studio is my creative sanctuary, where I blend sounds to craft unique sonic landscapes. As a music producer, I delve into creating soundtracks that tell stories, compose captivating music for advertisements, and construct immersive atmospheres for videos and video game VFX. From vibrant beats to relaxing melodies for meditation, my music spans a broad spectrum of emotions.
Music is my universal language, and each note is an expression of my passion for exploration and creation. Join me on this multifaceted journey where creativity knows no bounds!
Biography
Josh Kibeat was born in May 1987 in Mataró (BCN). At the age of 18, in 2005, he embarked on his DJ career under the name Dj Seion, making a mark in the makina and hardcore scene and winning his first DJ contest in 2010. However, by 2006, he immersed himself fully in the house music scene, performing in various clubs in the center of Catalonia.
Over the years, he made a name for himself in the Osona region, securing residencies in various clubs and consistently reaching the finals of every DJ contest he entered. His style has evolved and perfected over time, excelling in ClubHouse sets, showcasing skill and dexterity in mixing TechHouse, and delivering forcefulness when playing the most vibrant Techno of the moment.
Since 2013, he has been producing various individual works in the House style. Between 2013 and 2014, he trained as a sound technician at RadioVic during commercial hours, serving as a presenter, programmer, DJ, and collaborator in weekend night programs.
Throughout most of 2015, he worked as a room manager and resident DJ at «C-17 Discoteca» (Tona). Finally, in 2016, he moved to Mahón (Menorca), where he debuted at Sala Rit-Mo, performing in two consecutive summers in 2017 and 2018.
After four years of silence to focus on professional training and obtaining a degree as a Superior Technician in Image and Sound at the University of Vic, Josh Kibeat resumes his musical career, participating in various projects in 2022 and 2023 in clubs like l’Envelat (Vic), l’Infi-Nit (Centelles), El Moscou (Torelló) and M7Cub (Barcelona). His upcoming events are filled with technological advancements blended with the best underground music in techno and techhouse.
